In this scenario, the customer wants to test their disaster recovery plan and wants all applications to failover to the disaster recovery site. To accomplish this, the technical architect should use the planned failover option from the source site, the primary site. This will allow the customer to test their disaster recovery plan and ensure that all applications can be successfully failed over to the disaster recovery site. It's important to note that if the customer wants to failover to the disaster recovery site for maintenance and after that fail back to the primary site, the planned failover should be run from the target site.
