A Business Case is a document that justifies the initiation of a project. It includes an economic feasibility study which demonstrates the benefits or business value to be created as a result of the project. The Business Case collects the proposal, strategy, and marketing plan in one document and offers a full look at how the project will benefit the organization. It is prepared during the project initiation phase and is used to convince stakeholders of the project’s value and align it with the larger business objectives of the organization.
